Nicole Garry

Senior Billing Coordinator, Boston

What helps keep you motivated at work?
What keeps me motivated is the positivity and collaboration my team displays every day. We share common goals and genuinely care about the impact of our collective productivity.

What is a current project you’re working on?
I find account management and billing for an aviation client to be the most exciting project I’m currently working on. The challenges it presents are so stimulating, and it’s unlike anything I’ve tackled at the firm before. I feel truly honored to have been entrusted with the responsibility of managing such a complex account.

What is something about yourself you think most of your colleagues would be surprised to learn?
They might be surprised to learn that I've done karaoke more times than I can count! Singing and music have always been my passions, and I can’t go a day without Spotify. I love exploring new artists and genres, and I have a deep appreciation for the artistry of songwriting, which often comes from a deeply personal place for the artists.

What’s your favorite family tradition?
My husband and I started this tradition a few years ago after attending multiple Thanksgiving gatherings, including a Friendsgiving and two additional family celebrations since some relatives don’t live nearby. When we host, we ditch the usual turkey and all the traditional sides. Last year, we smoked ribs and pulled pork and asked everyone to bring a unique appetizer. By the time our celebration rolls around, everyone is usually tired of turkey, so we decided to break the mold—and it’s been a hit! Everyone loves this culinary rebellion!
